Certain dates stand out in your memory. Today, December 8th should be one of them for North Buckhead residents. On December 8, 2018 --- 43 native hardwood trees were reintroduced to Mountain Way Common. An area clear cut to build GA 400 will now be an urban forest like it once was. I can't wait to see how these specimen trees grow in our neighborhood. Most are between 5 and 6 feet tall right now... how long will it take for them to reach 10 feet and 20 feet and on? When you visit the park, think back to this date and look at the trees and see how they have adapted to Buckhead Life!
